SpaceX's workhorse Falcon 9 rocket suffered a rare engine failure on Thursday night during a Starlink mission to deploy satellites in low Earth orbit. This was the first mid-flight incident with the Falcon 9 rocket since June 2015. 

The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California around 2235 ET, carrying 20 Starlink satellites, 13 of which are the new direct-to-cell satellites.

Surprise. Surprise. AT&T has revealed a massive hack of customer data for the second time this year. This latest batch of customer data includes "records of customer call and text interactions" that occurred "between approximately May 1 and October 31, 2022, as well as on January 2, 2023," the company wrote in a regulatory filing Friday.

Apple's augmented reality headset, the Vision Pro, costs $3,499 and was released earlier this year during a period of elevated consumer stress, which has only worsened by the month. There have been notable signs of mounting demand woes for the overpriced headset, and new estimates forecast dismal sales until a cheaper version debuts next year.
