BlackRock expects the AI boom and data centers to drive a 50% jump in energy consumption in the Asia Pacific region over the next decade, a senior executive at the world’s largest asset manager said on Wednesday.

The cost of training AI models has exploded in just the past year, according to data released by the research firm Epoch AI. 

This development aptly shows how much more complex and capable AI models have gotten in a short time span.

4 In 10 US Teens Admit Problems With Their Smartphone Usage | ZeroHedge

A recent Pew Research Center survey shows that most U.S. teens between 13 and 17 think they spend just the right amount or too little time on their smartphones and social media.
