The channel island of Jersey has been crowned as Europe’s broadband champion of 2023, with an average download speed of 265 megabits per second (Mbps).

As Statista's Anna Fleck reports, this is according to an annual study by cable.co.uk, based on the network connection speeds found in 220 countries and territories around the world. “300 Mbps WiFi Speed”: Entire Qatar Airways Fleet To Be Supported By Starlink | ZeroHedge

The Starlink satellite internet service, operated by Elon Musk's rocket company SpaceX, signed a deal with Qatar Airways to offer the new high-speed, low-latency broadband internet access on specified aircraft and routes.
