In an interview with The Verge Editor-in-Chief Nilay Patel, former President Barack Obama once again claimed that he is virtually a “First Amendment absolutist” despite supporting censorship for years, including United Nations efforts to criminalize criticism of religion on a global scale. 

There are aspects of the Obama terms that I have praised, but his record on free speech is not one of them.

Thursday morning is another eventful day at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation conference in downtown San Francisco, where pro-Palestine protesters shut down the Bay Bridge on Thursday morning, causing traffic chaos in the metro area.

Local media KTUV said the Arab Resource and Organizing Center organized the massive disruption that has blocked all westbound lanes.

Conservative influencer Candace Owens appeared on Tucker Carlson's show Wednesday, where she responded to attacks by Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro, her boss. 

Shapiro was caught on a viral clip calling Owens "disgraceful" for her commentary on Israel – after she tweeted on Nov. 3 that "No government anywhere has a right to commit a genocide, ever," referring to Israel's response to the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack. "There is no justification (more…)
